In this role, the successful Installation Manager or similar will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of a variety of security systems, leading the design, specification, installation and commissioning. In addition, you will also be responsible for performing both planned and reactive maintenance on said security systems. On top of this, you will also be responsible for delivering structured data cabling installations, as well as assisting in broader technology installations. Finally, you will be responsible for both client and interdepartmental liaison, alongside ownership of the presales process, as well as providing technical advice to customers where applicable.
The ideal Installation Engineer or similar will come from a background within the Access Control/CCTV/Telecoms/AV/MSP industry or a related field. In addition, you will also have prior experience in both the installation and commissioning of technological systems or a related application, with a strong knowledge of IP networking fundamentals. To further this, you will also ideally have had prior experience within structured cabling installation. On top of this, you will have strong organisational, communicational and organisational skills, with a comfortability working in a variety of environments, including construction sites. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
