A high-performing secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a talented History Teacher to join its successful Humanities department from September 2026 on a full-time contract until July 2027. This position is well suited to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners, with the potential for a permanent position following a successful academic year.
The school delivers a broad, knowledge-rich History curriculum that develops pupils' analytical thinking, source evaluation and extended writing skills across KS3 and KS4. As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 depending on experience. The Ideal Candidate- Holds UK QTS or is completing a UK-accredited teacher training programme
