Are you a Health & Safety Advisor or similar looking for a stable full-time, site-based role where you can play a key role in maintaining compliance and driving health and safety standards within a busy manufacturing environment?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, third-generation family food production business as a Health & Safety Advisor. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all aspects of health and safety across the site, ensuring compliance with legislation, promoting best practice, and helping to foster a strong safety culture throughout the business.

In this role, you will work closely with managers and operational teams to monitor compliance, conduct site inspections, investigate incidents, deliver training, and identify opportunities to continuously improve health and safety performance across the organisation.

This role would suit a NEBOSH-qualified Health & Safety Advisor or similar with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, looking for a stable, full-time position.

The Role:
  • Supporting and maintaining the site's Health & Safety function
  • Carrying out audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Investigating incidents and assisting with corrective and preventative actions
  • Delivering training, inductions, and toolbox talks while maintaining compliance records, KPIs, and safety documentation
  • Monday - Friday, 40-hour week
The Person:
  • Health & Safety Advisor or similar - UK experience
  • NEBOSH qualified
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
  • Commutable to Howden
