The Role:
As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant, you'll specialise in the legal market, developing an in-depth understanding of your sector while building relationships with both candidates and clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching and identifying high-calibre legal professionals
- Headhunting candidates across your specialist legal market
- Building and maintaining relationships with solicitors, partners and senior legal professionals
- Developing relationships with leading law firms and legal businesses
- Managing the recruitment process from initial conversation through to offer
- Conducting candidate interviews and assessing suitability
- Using networking, LinkedIn, advertising and direct outreach to source talent
- Advising candidates throughout interview and offer processes
- Learning how to negotiate and successfully close deals
- Developing your own network and reputation within the legal sector
- Working towards individual revenue and performance targets
Who We're Looking For:
We're interested in speaking with graduates and commercially minded individuals who are:
- 2024 graduates with some commercial, sales or customer-facing experience
- 2025 graduates with a 2:1 degree or above
- 2026 graduates on track for a 2:1 or above
- Confident, articulate and comfortable speaking with new people
- Highly ambitious and motivated by financial success
- Competitive and driven to outperform targets
- Resilient and able to deal with rejection
- Naturally curious and interested in building expertise within a specialist market
- Previous sales, cold-calling or recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential
