Fitness Instructor (part-time)
We are working with a Further Education provider in Cambridge who requires an experienced fitness instructor to support their sports centre. This is a part-time position working 12 hours per week (4.00 10.30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays).
On a day-to-day basis youll be involved with:
Delivering fitness classes to staff, students and other members
Providing tours of the gym and inductions
Set up and dismantle/store gym equipment
Support front of house and administration for the sports centre
Maintain health and safety as well as ensure the sports centre is clan and tidy at all times.
The ideal person for this role will:
Have a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification
Have experience of delivering high-energy fitness classes
Enjoy interacting with students and gym attendees
Ideally have a first aid qualification (but this is not essential)
Be able to pass, or already have, an Enhanced DBS check
This is a permanent position and offers the equivalent to £24,577 - £25,192 per annum (for full-time, prorated for the part-time hours), plus excellent benefits, including free onsite parking. You will be required on site every working day (Tuesday and Friday) so will need to be within easy commutable distance of central Cambridge.
