We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing and established business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a wide range of fire and security systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, fault-find, and repair:
Fire alarm systems (conventional and addressable)
Intruder alarm systems
CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
Access control systems
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.

Attend reactive callouts within agreed response times.

Complete small works and minor installations when required.

Commission systems following installations or modifications.

Ensure all work is completed in line with current industry standards and company procedures.

Accurately complete all service reports, job sheets, and certification.

Identify system faults, non-compliances, and provide recommendations for remedial works.

Use mobile devices and job management systems to update work progress and records.

Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and/or security systems.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.

Good knowledge of relevant British Standards and industry regulations.

Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control systems.

Good IT skills and experience using mobile reporting systems.

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Full UK driving licence.

Qualifications (Desirable)
FIA Units or equivalent fire alarm qualifications.

Manufacturer or industry training in CCTV, access control, or intruder alarms.
