As our most senior fire engineering professional, you will set the strategic direction, technical standards and commercial performance of Odevo UK's Fire Engineering function. You will lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of fire engineers, technicians and support colleagues, ensuring every design, assessment and compliance project meets the highest professional, regulatory and quality benchmarks.

This is a senior leadership role where you will combine technical authority with accountable leadership across people, business development, key client relationships and risk governance. You will shape the roadmap for a high-performing function, unlock growth across the UK's largest residential property management platform, and champion innovation that raises safety outcomes for residents and property owners.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Most days, you will balance strategic leadership with hands-on oversight: guiding complex technical decisions, coaching leaders and project teams, and engaging directly with priority clients and partners. You will review and approve high-impact deliverables, manage commercial performance, and steer risk, quality and compliance so the function scales with confidence.

  • Owning key client relationships, shaping proposals and presentations, and supporting major bids.
  • Overseeing portfolio performance, including pipeline, utilisation, profitability and cash collection.
  • Strengthening governance: quality assurance, regulatory compliance, audits and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with Odevo business units to productise services, enhance technology enablement and scale delivery.
