Hyde is looking for an exceptional Financial Planning & Analysis Director to lead a high-profile finance function at the heart of one of the UK's leading housing associations.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially astute, qualified finance professional who can shape long-term financial planning, strengthen strategic decision-making and support Hyde's ambition to provide great homes and thriving communities.

For almost 60 years, Hyde has been providing affordable homes across London and the South East.

We own or manage around 125,000 homes and provide neighbourhood services to around 350,000 homes across the country.

The role Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will lead Hyde's FP&A function across Development Finance, Budgeting & Forecasting and Financial Strategy.

You will bring these disciplines together into an integrated, insight-led planning framework that supports corporate planning, investment decisions, financial resilience and delivery of Hyde's strategic priorities.

You will work closely with the Chief Finance Officer, Executive Team, Board and senior leaders, providing clear analysis, robust challenge and forward-looking insight.

Your leadership will ensure Hyde's financial plans, forecasts, development assumptions and strategic choices are credible, well controlled and aligned to long-term organisational sustainability.

What you'll lead Lead Hyde's integrated corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning cycle.

Provide strategic oversight of development finance, ensuring investment activity is financially robust, deliverable and aligned to Hyde's strategy.

Shape financial strategy, scenario planning, funding capacity analysis and sustainability modelling.

Deliver high-quality reporting and insight for the Executive Team, Board and senior leadership forums.

Build a high-performing FP&A leadership team with clear accountability, strong capability and a continuous improvement mindset.

About you You will be a qualified accountant with senior experience in financial planning, forecasting, modelling and performance insight within a complex organization, a knowledge of the UK real estate market is desirable.

You will bring the judgement and credibility to influence Executive and Board-level decisions, together with the leadership capability to develop senior finance professionals and drive change across a multi-disciplinary function.

You will combine technical excellence with commercial judgement, strategic thinking and a strong understanding of how financial insight enables better business decisions.

Experience in housing, property, infrastructure, regulated sectors or similarly complex organisations would be valuable.
