As an EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) , you will work across Nursery and Reception, supporting children academically, socially and emotionally while helping to create an exciting and stimulating classroom environment.
The school is also keen to invest in ambitious members of staff, making this an excellent opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) who may wish to progress into Teacher Training in the future.
What will your role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) involve?
Supporting pupils across Nursery and Reception throughout the school day
Delivering targeted Phonics, Reading, Writing and early Maths activities
Leading small-group interventions and focused learning sessions
Supporting children with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and Speech & Language needs
Encouraging learning through creative play, sensory activities and practical tasks
Helping children develop communication, independence and positive social skills
Supporting classroom routines, transitions and behaviour expectations
Working closely with the Class Teacher and wider EYFS team to monitor pupil progress
Contributing ideas towards displays, activities, learning areas and classroom resources
EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3) - Candidate Specification
Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, CACHE or equivalent
Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
Previous experience supporting children within Nursery, Reception or another Early Years setting
Confident delivering Phonics and early literacy activities
Creative, energetic and proactive approach to supporting children
Comfortable working independently and as part of a large Early Years team
Genuine passion for supporting children's development
Aspiring Primary Teachers are strongly encouraged to apply
