Your Teaching is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Early Years Teachers to join welcoming and supportive primary schools across South London. We are working with a number of schools that are looking to appoint experienced, qualified Early Years Teachers for September 2026. Schools will be arranging interviews and trial days throughout September, with successful candidates able to start shortly afterwards.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing school environment where children's learning, development, and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.

About the Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Monitor, assess, and record children's progress and development.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, parents, and colleagues to support children's learning and wellbeing.
  • Promote positive behaviour and strong classroom routines.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Essential.
  • Previous experience teaching within an EYFS classroom in a UK primary school.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early child development.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Available to work full-time (Monday to Friday).
