A specialist Autism school in London is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their Early Years provision from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive and nurturing setting, developing their specialist SEND experience within a highly personalised learning environment.
About the School This specialist school supports pupils with Autism and complex learning needs , providing a structured and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop their communication, independence and confidence.
The school places a strong emphasis on personalised learning, sensory regulation and developing positive relationships with pupils.
The Role As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with Autism and additional needs.
Adapt the Early Years curriculum to meet individual learning and communication needs.
Support pupils' communication, social development, emotional regulation and independence.
Work closely with Teaching Assistants and wider multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor pupil progress and contribute towards EHCP outcomes.
Create a calm, structured and engaging classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate QTS is essential.
Experience working within Early Years, Primary or SEND settings is desirable.
A genuine interest in working with children with Autism and complex needs.
Strong understanding of differentiation and personalised learning.
Patient, nurturing and resilient with excellent relationship-building skills.
ECTs with a strong interest in SEND are encouraged to apply.
