Responsibilities in your new role as Chef de Partie:

  • As a Chef de Partie, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional food and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and wider brigade, you'll help maintain the highest standards while supporting and developing junior team members.
  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes within your designated section.
  • Supporting and mentoring Commis Chefs to help them develop their skills.
  • Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and portion control.
  • Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and served efficiently during busy service.
  • Contributing ideas for daily specials and seasonal menu development.
  • Assisting the Head Chef in evolving the a la carte menu.
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
  • Helping to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently as part of a collaborative team.

Your personality, experience and qualifications:

  • We're looking for an experienced Chef who takes pride in delivering outstanding food and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • You will bring previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and high-quality food.
  • A professional cookery qualification (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a strong team-focused approach.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.
