Catering Supervisor
£31,000 per year
Marylebone W1
Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm (occasional weekends and evenings)
Starting ASAP
If you have been running sections and leading a shift as a senior or head waiter, this is the job where you get the title, the team and your evenings back.
What's on offer
£31,000 a year, permanent and full time.
Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.
A daytime events business, so no split shifts and no midnight finishes.
The occasional evening or weekend event is absorbed within your hours.
Your own floor and your own waiting team from day one, in a group with four London venues, so there is somewhere to go after this.
Your Role
You are the catering supervisor at a conference and events venue in W1, running meetings, private dining and corporate banqueting across seven event spaces.
Days range from coffee breaks and working lunches to sit down dinners for 130 and receptions for 180.
The café on site runs around 70 covers.
You set the rooms, brief the waiting staff and run service from first coffee break to last plate cleared.
Food is produced on site, so allergens and dietary requirements go straight to the kitchen from you.
You speak to clients on the floor and fix problems before anyone notices.
Every event is set and stripped by hand across a listed building of several floors.
What we're looking for
At least two years waiting in a restaurant, hotel or events venue, with time spent running a section or leading a shift.
Confident with allergens, dietary requirements and front of house standards for corporate clients.
Ready to take a floor and a team as your own.
Apply now with your CV.
