Are you a Business Development Executive or similar with experience in lead generation or market research, looking to join a rapidly expanding cables company where you will receive expert training, develop your commercial skills and have opportunities to progress across the business?
This global cable supplier provides power, data and control cable solutions to industries including rail, mining, renewables, oil and gas, construction and infrastructure. Operating in over 120 countries worldwide, the business is recognised for technical expertise, quality assurance and project support.
In this role, you will support the Business Development team by researching construction, infrastructure and industrial projects, identifying potential opportunities and speaking with contractors, consultants, developers and other industry contacts to gather project intelligence. You will qualify opportunities before passing them to the relevant Business Development Manager, while maintaining accurate CRM records and supporting the wider sales pipeline.
This role would suit a Business Development Executive or similar, who is confident speaking with people over the phone and comfortable combining administration and research with outbound calls.
The Role:
- Research projects and identify new business opportunities
- Qualify leads and pass to the BDM team
- Make outbound calls to key industry contacts
- Navigate gatekeepers and identify decision-makers
- Update CRM records and support the sales pipeline
Full time, Monday - Friday, office based - 9:00 - 5:00

- Experience in lead generation, telesales or business development support
- Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills
- Commutable to Camden Town
