An excellent opportunity to join a growing insurance business in London to support the management of bordereaux across the company and their MGA cells. A broad role which will cover the following areas:

  • Bordereaux Review
  • Bordereaux Queries
  • Binder Data Processing
  • Reporting & Audits

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing Written, Paid and Claims Bordereaux information from the system on a monthly basis
  • Monitoring and reviewing all errors identified using exception reporting tools and ensuring correct resolution actions are implemented
  • Resolving bordereaux-related queries from MGA and Carriers
  • Developing a strong understanding of bordereaux structures, data fields, and carrier-specific requirements
  • Submitting relevant bordereaux to the Binder Bordereaux System
  • Creating and maintaining premium mapping templates for new or existing binders/sections
  • Resolving validation errors and escalating issues to Underwriters, Coverholders, or the Delegated Underwriting team
  • Supporting reporting requirements and ensuring bordereaux submissions meet governance and carrier expectations
  • Preparing cash collection statements for Bureau related transactions
  • Assisting with internal and external audit reviews as required in relation to bordereaux and binder data

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience in insurance operations or delegated authority/bordereaux management
  • Knowledge of Risk, Premium, and Claims Bordereaux, including Lloyd's V5.2 standards is desirable
  • Understanding of Delegated Authority structures and London Insurance Market operations
  • Someone who is inquisitive and has problem solving/query resolution skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Standard
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to resolve data errors
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
