A fantastic Primary School based in the Borough of Brent is actively searching for a confident, caring and considerate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who struggle with communication and require additional support. This is a full-time position starting September 2026 for the full academic year. The school is committed to developing their staff and providing training, support and hands-on experience for graduates who are serious about pursuing a career in Speech and Language, therapy, psychology, SEN or education.

Job Information
- Provide consistent care and support to pupils who need specific support with Speech and Language
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2
- Work closely with pupils who have SEN and additional needs
- Support pupils with communication, vocabulary, social interaction and confidence
- Help deliver targeted Speech and Language activities under the guidance of teaching staff and external professionals
- Tailor your approach to each pupil's individual educational and communication needs
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and outside professionals where required
- Work in both small group and 1:1 settings
- Support pupils with Autism, Speech and Language needs, SEMH and learning difficulties
