Office-Based Role within a Well-Established Insurance Broker
NC Associates are working in partnership with a well-established Insurance Broker based in Cholmondeley to recruit an Account Handler. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused insurance professional to join a growing team, providing exceptional client service while supporting Account Executives with the day-to-day management of commercial insurance policies.
The successful candidate will become a key point of contact for clients, handling policy renewals, quotations, and administrative support while ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with FCA regulations.
Account Handler Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for incoming client enquiries via telephone and email
Providing professional support and guidance on a range of insurance-related queries
Preparing quotations, renewals, and policy documentation using the Acturis system
Managing policy renewals from initial contact through to completion
Updating and maintaining client records, tasks, and documentation within Acturis
Gathering relevant client information to ensure policies provide appropriate levels of cover
Processing policy amendments, renewals, and associated documentation accurately
Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures
Delivering exceptional customer service while building long-term client relationships
Providing administrative support to Account Executives and the wider broking team
Maintaining accurate records of all client correspondence, documentation, and telephone conversations
Supporting the wider team with general office and administration duties when required
Account Handler Experience Required
To be successful in your application, you should have the following experience:
Essential:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work within a regulated environment
Confident using Microsoft Office packages
Desirable:
Previous experience using Acturis
Knowledge of commercial insurance products
Understanding of FCA compliance requirements
Experience supporting Account Executives or Insurance Brokers
