The Sales Account Director is a senior-level position responsible for:
- Opportunity Management: Driving strategic business growth and profitability through effective account/sales strategies and relationship management.
- Customer Management: Managing and growing Version 1's relationship with a portfolio of accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships at all levels.
- Contract Management: Responsible for your portfolio of account's financial performance metrics and ensuring the account is managed in line with contract requirements.
- Leading the contracted relationship: Work in lock-step with the Portfolio Director to ensure the execution of contracts awarded to Version 1.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring a minimum customer satisfaction score (CSAT) is maintained in line with company/account objectives.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies: Accountable for the development and implementation of an account plan detailing growth strategies.
- Building and maintaining client relationships: Understanding client needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided.
- Leading the account sales team: Responsible for the performance of the multi-disciplinary teams they will lead.
- Maintaining existing revenue: Ensuring existing forecast revenue run rate delivery is maintained or ideally growing.
- Identify new business opportunities: Responsible for identifying new business opportunities within accounts.
- Meet sales targets: Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets and ensuring the profitability of the accounts managed.
- Lead sales opportunities: Developed both directly through our Commercial team or through our strategic technology partnerships.
- Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: Collaborate with key team members in other departments to ensure that the client's needs are being met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Ensure that the company's sales strategies are effective.
- Provide regular reporting: Provide regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and account performance to senior management.
Qualifications Essential Experience & Skills:
- Extensive experience working in a similar role, leading a multi-disciplinary team and setting successful sales strategies within the technology industry.
- Proven experience meeting sales targets as a team and individually.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, influencing customers and driving success within a sales team.
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Pharmaceutical, Private Healthcare & Life Sciences.
- Strong awareness of trends in the industry.
