HGV Class 2 Driver - West Lothian
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in West Lothian .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent backshift hours, competitive rates of pay and ongoing work with a reputable company.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver .
Rates of Pay:
£15.25 - £16.25 per hour
Shift Pattern:
As a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will work:
Sunday to Thursday
Start times between 14:00 and 22:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver are:
Delivering and collecting linen and laundry products from customer locations
Loading and unloading cages, bags and linen stock
Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
Adhering to all transport legislation and company procedures
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Good communication and customer service skills
Reliable and punctual approach to work
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations
Previous multi-drop delivery experience
Experience within laundry, linen or hospitality distribution environments is advantageous
Training:
Ongoing support and training provided
