We are currently recruiting for a temporary Housing Officer to support housing and community services across the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced housing professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality neighbourhood management services and building strong community relationships.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
- Managing a designated neighbourhood patch
- Delivering effective tenancy and estate management services
- Responding to anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches
- Carrying out estate inspections and property visits
- Supporting residents with tenancy-related queries and issues
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
- Ensuring communities are safe, clean, and well maintained
- Handling safeguarding concerns and supporting vulnerable tenants
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with housing policies
Requirements of a Housing Officer:
- Previous experience within a Housing Officer or Tenancy Management role
- Strong knowledge of housing and tenancy management practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Flexible approach to travel and hybrid working
