StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing Store delivery work in Knowsley. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

  • Monday–Friday AM: £17.55ph plus holiday pay, or £19.66ph including holiday pay.
  • Saturday & Sunday AM: £23.40ph plus holiday pay, or £26.22ph including holiday pay.

What the role involves

  • Completing Store deliveries and trunking work, typically 1–3 drops per shift.
  • Shifts are typically 10–12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed pay, including paid breaks.
  • Working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available.
  • A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.

Our ideal candidate

  • Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 2 years.
  • Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions).
  • Has good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • Is physically fit and well-presented.
