We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder/Fabricator to join an established manufacturing team producing high-quality, bespoke steel windows and doors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some TIG welding or fabrication experience who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist manufacturing environment.

Full in-house training will be provided, with opportunities for progression and increased pay as your skills develop.

The Role
You will work alongside experienced welders and fabricators, learning and developing your TIG welding and fabrication skills while producing bespoke products to high standards.

Key responsibilities include:
TIG welding and fabricating metal components.

Working from engineering and fabrication drawings.

Cutting, shaping and assembling metal components.

Using hand tools, welding equipment and measuring equipment safely.

Inspecting finished work to ensure accuracy and quality.

Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.

Supporting experienced welders and other members of the manufacturing team.

Maintaining tools and equipment and reporting any faults.

Following company health & safety and quality procedures.

About You
You will ideally have some previous experience in TIG welding, fabrication, engineering or metalwork, although candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered.

You should have:
Basic TIG welding experience or relevant fabrication experience.

The ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Good practical and mathematical skills.

Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.

Good hand-tool and workshop skills.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Good communication skills.

A reliable and professional approach to work.

Experience in steel windows and doors, architectural metalwork or precision fabrication would be advantageous but is not essential.

A Level 2/3 Welding & Fabrication qualification, or equivalent experience, would also be beneficial.
