  • Hourly Rate: £13.50 Hours: 45 hours per week Location & Postcode: Whisby, Lincolnshire

As an IBA MRF Operative at FCC Environment, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the IBA Materials Recycling Facility.

You will be responsible for picking materials from processing lines, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, and ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety requirements.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working as part of a site-based operational team.

What will you be doing?

  • Carrying out picking activities on the IBA processing lines
  • Positively and negatively removing materials as required
  • Assisting with cleaning and housekeeping across the facility, including litter picking and plant cleaning
  • Monitoring the quality of materials produced by the IBA MRF
  • Moving metals to bulking containers and maintaining accurate records
  • Adhering to FCC Environment health, safety and environmental policies at all times
  • Reporting hazards, near misses and unsafe conditions
  • Working safely with tools, equipment and PPE
  • Supporting the wider site team and undertaking any other duties required to meet business needs

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working in an operational, industrial or waste environment (desirable)
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • A proactive, reliable and hardworking attitude
  • Relevant plant or machinery experience/tickets (desirable, training can be provided)
