Robertson Recruitment are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Lichfield who are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join their busy production team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm

What You'll Be Doing: Setting and operating press brake machinery
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Selecting and fitting the correct tooling
Setting machines accurately for different jobs and components
Producing parts to required dimensions and tolerances
Carrying out quality checks throughout production
Using measuring equipment to ensure components are accurate
Identifying and reporting any quality or production issues

What We're Looking For: Previous experience setting and operating press brakes
Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
Strong attention to detail
A quality-focused approach to your work
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A reliable and hardworking attitude
