You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation work, electrical maintenance, fault finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of industrial machinery and site equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability and safety across the facility.
Sector – Industrial Manufacturing / Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Installation Electrician:
- Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Industrial maintenance or industrial installation background
- Strong hands-on electrical fault-finding experience within an industrial environment
Requirements for the Installation Electrician:
- Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panels and machinery
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repair and installation work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Desirable Requirements for the Installation Electrician:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Installation Electrician in the UK
- Experience working on industrial machinery, conveyors or automated systems
- Basic PLC fault-finding experience (advantageous but not essential)
