Are you a passionate leader who enjoys making a difference in people's lives? We are recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider for a Team Leader to join their dedicated support team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced team leader or manager who is passionate about supporting individuals and leading successful teams.

You would be responsible for managing a small team of Support Workers providing guidance and helping coordinate the day-to-day running of the service. You will ensure care is delivered safely, respectfully and in line with individual needs and goals.

  • Salary: £32,000 p/a

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support and motivate a team of Support Workers
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, supervision and support to colleagues
  • Assist with planning staff rotas and coordinating daily activities
  • Support individuals with their personal goals, daily activities and independence
  • Contribute to support plans, risk assessments and reviews, ensuring individual needs are understood and met
  • Monitor care standards and ensure accurate records and documentation are maintained
  • Support with staff inductions, training and ongoing development

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working within adult social care, support work or a similar care environment desirable
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care and supporting individuals to live as independently as possible
  • Confident working with support plans, risk assessments and care documentation
  • Understanding of safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable adults
  • Level 3 Adult Care qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable, or willingness to work towards this.
