You will have a key role in ensuring the effective management and control of nightshift warehouse operations and will be responsible for leading and managing highly effective warehouse operational activities. The role is responsible for managing nightshift warehouse operations, the hours of work based over a Monday – Thursday work pattern and from 18.00pm – 6.00am with flexibility in your working hours in order to suit the needs of the business, particularly at peak operational periods.

Your role duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing all Warehouse operational activities to ensure the highest standards of Warehouse service provision are delivered at all times
  • Leading and managing all operational activities to meet company targets in relation to quality, delivery and cost
  • Working closely with all internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Operational management of nightshift warehouse staff
  • Manage and control materials supply ensuring consistent availability to meet all operational requirements
  • Ensure the highest standards of work environment and health and safety is maintained at all times

You will have an in-depth background and experience managing all areas of warehouse and associated operations within a dynamic, fast paced warehousing environment. You will be a natural people leader and have led and supported lean / continuous improvement activities across all areas of warehousing activities. Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will have first class customer facing experience and be well versed leading and managing client engagement.
