We are hiring a Production Assistant for our factory, reporting to the Head of Production & Manager Factory and Acrylics. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks.
This role will cover two job descriptions:
- Junior Assembly Operative: You will work closely with our client's manufacturing team to assemble various displays using multiple materials including wood, metal, and acrylic. The ideal candidate will be practical, have a good work ethic, and be open to learning and developing on the job. Relevant training will be provided. Experience is ideal but not essential; familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and manual handling is beneficial.
- Junior Print Finisher: In a friendly environment, the successful candidate will learn all aspects of quality print finishing and have the opportunity to advance in the evolving print medium sector. The right candidate will have a positive attitude, a good work ethic, and be open to learning and developing on the job. Relevant training will be provided.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a 1-hour lunch break and 2x15 minute tea breaks. Free parking is available. Pay rates are £10.85 per hour for under 21s and £12.71 for over 21s.
