Bennett & Game are representing an established construction contractor who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The company operates across general construction, refurbishment, restoration, repair and maintenance, delivering a varied portfolio of projects across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and the wider Eastern region. Current work ranges from public-sector refurbishment and housing maintenance programmes through to commercial fit-outs and larger construction projects, with project values typically ranging from around £1m to £2m.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being hands-on and wants genuine responsibility across both commercial and operational aspects of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with site teams, clients, subcontractors and the wider office, with the role offering a good degree of autonomy within a busy and established contracting business. There is also scope for the successful candidate to take on elements of project management, making this particularly well suited to someone who enjoys being involved beyond the traditional QS function.
