The Opportunity

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting supply chain planning and continuous improvement activities. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across supply chain planning, materials, inventory or logistics, who enjoys working with data and finding ways to improve processes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting supply chain planning activities for new product introduction projects
  • Analysing data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Developing supply chain plans across major projects
  • Working closely with operations, procurement and logistics teams
  • Monitoring service, inventory and efficiency performance
  • Supporting inventory optimisation and material flow improvements
  • Contributing to continuous improvement projects across supply chain processes
  • Preparing reports and presenting supply chain information to stakeholders

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Materials or Production Planning
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Good data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of inventory and/or logistics planning
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines

Desirable Experience

  • New Product Introduction (NPI/MPI)
  • SAP or other ERP/MRP systems
  • Power BI
  • Project management
  • Packaging or transportation planning
  • Lean logistics and continuous improvement
  • A degree is desirable but not essential

Important Details

This is a fully onsite position in Desford, with an initial 12-month contract. The standard working week is 37.5 hours, with some flexibility around start and finish times following onboarding.
