Responsibilities: Manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients including sole traders, partnerships, landlords and company directors.

Review Self Assessment tax returns along with sole trader, partnership and rental accounts.

Meet clients throughout the year, providing practical advice in straightforward language.

Act as the main point of contact, building trusted long-term relationships.

Mentor and support an Accounts Technician, helping develop their technical ability and confidence.

Manage workflow, deadlines and identify opportunities to improve client service and internal processes.

The Ideal Candidate Experience working within an accountancy practice.

Strong knowledge of Self Assessment and personal tax.

Comfortable managing your own client portfolio and building lasting client relationships.

Experience reviewing work completed by junior colleagues and supporting their development.

Confident communicator who explains technical matters in plain English.
