This established and growing independent lift company are currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to support their Major Projects division. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Lift Engineer with supervisory experience to join a business delivering major repairs and modernisation projects across their portfolio in the Midlands.

As a Project Supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising major repair and modernisation projects from planning through to completion
  • Supporting and coordinating engineers and subcontractors on site
  • Monitoring project progress to ensure works are completed safely, on time and within budget
  • Providing technical support and guidance to engineering teams
  • Liaising with customers, site contacts and internal departments
  • Managing project materials, logistics and site administration
  • Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Reporting project updates and performance to senior management
  • Leading by example and supporting the development of engineering teams

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A background in lift engineering with experience in major repairs, modernisation, installation or service
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (essential)
  • NVQ/QCF Level 4 (desirable)
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within the lift industry
  • Strong technical knowledge across a variety of lift products
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
  • The ability to motivate, develop and lead engineers
