Are you a numerate, detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in investment operations? We have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Operations Administrator to join our Client Dealing team, playing a key role in monitoring client cash, processing trades, and investing client monies in a fast-moving and rewarding environment.
About the role
As part of the Investment Operations Client Dealing team, you will support the day-to-day trading requirements of the business including client cash investment, sales, withdrawals, and model portfolio switching. You will work closely with Investment Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and the wider Finance team, and will be encouraged to contribute ideas to improve processes and drive better client outcomes.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing trades, including client cash investment, sales, withdrawals, and model portfolio switches
- Liaising with Investment Managers, CRMs, and the Investment Operations team to respond to queries and act on dealing instructions
- Managing and prioritising your workload to meet service level agreements
- Working with the Finance team to ensure accurate deduction and reporting of fees from platforms
- Managing the centralised mailbox and assisting with project work alongside senior team members
- Proactively identifying process improvements and staying up to date with system and industry changes
What we're looking for:
- Strong numeracy, literacy and IT skills, with particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships across teams
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Desire to obtain industry qualifications to a minimum of Level 3
