Position is based in Cosby, Leicestershire (cover letter is required). Vape.co.uk is a rapidly growing online vaping retailer that ships across the UK and all over the world. We are passionate about excellent service and improving people's smoke-free journey, keeping things simple and offering a one-stop destination for all types of vapers.
We are looking for a Partnerships Executive to join us on the journey. We're a young and fun team, looking for somebody to bring ideas and energy to the role.
The Role
As a Partnerships Executive, you will be responsible for managing relationships with brands that we work with, creating and selling marketing campaigns for them on the Vape.co.uk website. You will not only deliver campaigns for brands but also manage the entire relationship and sales process. You will need to perform sales outreach and forge relationships with marketing managers and teams to deliver strong ROI to our brands. You will leverage our current marketing toolkit to generate campaigns like email marketing, advertising banners, and on-site placements.
Part of your role will be relationship management, which includes hosting in-person meetings as well as Zoom/Teams calls with relevant stakeholders. You will need to be comfortable with the outreach and be confident in your organisational and administrative skills to juggle external communication with internal execution.
We are looking for a relationship manager who can form connections with brands to drive successful campaigns and ultimately improve their digital presence within the UK market.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing existing partnerships with our direct brand partners
- Fostering new relationships with manufacturers and brands' marketing teams
- Crafting on-site advertising campaigns for brands that align with their KPIs for the UK market
- Campaign management and administration: oversee the campaign from start to finish, reporting on successes and areas to improve
- Negotiate campaign costs according to brand budgets
- Performance analysis & data reporting on campaign results
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be a confident and natural people person who is capable of speaking to everyone no matter their seniority. A creative ideas person who wants to push the boundaries and challenge our current processes. Ideally, you love the idea of running a marketing campaign on behalf of a brand from start to finish and the project management that comes with it. You will need commercial aptitude to be able to deliver ROI for the brands we work with and be able to report on the campaign afterwards. This will mean you need strong administration skills and the ability to see something through from start to finish.
You should be able to communicate ideas effectively and with confidence and have the ability to sell these ideas, converting them to campaign advertising sales. Ultimately, we hire personalities, not just experience. If you are a novice, you will be given complete training and the freedom to bring your ideas to life. If you are an expert, we love that too.
We feel this role would be perfect for somebody as an entry-level to account management and marketing partnerships but we of course welcome experienced pros!
Definite Requirements:
- Experience in relationship management, customer-facing or sales environment
- High organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office experience
Nice to Have:
- Some vaping knowledge/experience
- Experience as an account manager
- Marketing experience
- Proven sales record
- E-commerce experience
Perks:
- Relaxed dress code
- Birthday holiday
- 2 company-wide socials per year
- Annual pay review
- Pension
- Loyalty-based holiday accrual
- Facilities: Free soft drinks fridge & refreshments, ping pong, darts, putting golf & playstation, free parking
This is an in-office based role, working in our office and the hours are 37.5 hours 08:30 - 17:00 Monday - Friday.
Please Note: This is a maternity leave cover which would give a suitable graduate a perfect opportunity for experience to gain further employment. If performance is deemed high standard, we would consider full-time employment following the contract placement. The position is salaried and full-time including pension. SALARY £25,000 p/a. PLEASE INCLUDE COVER LETTER ON APPLICATION. Applicants without a cover letter sadly will not be considered (creativity is welcomed...)
