We're supporting a fast growing privately owned business in Leicester with a turnover of c£10m to recruit a Finance Manager on a 6 - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract. The role reports to a recently appointed Finance Director and will have the support of an experienced Company Accountant. They are initially looking for someone on a 6-9 Month contract but there could be a longer term opportunity with the business. £50-60k

Brief overview of responsibilities:

  • Help prepare all weekly and monthly reporting including management accounts and cashflow
  • Oversee month end close process
  • Ensure all payment approvals, including VAT and Corporation Tax are fully prepared, approved and paid in a timely manner and in line with HMRC & VAT processes
  • Ensure effective processes are in place and applied for budgeting and forecasting monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Commercial support and ad hoc project work, identifying risks, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations

We are ideally seeking someone fully qualified although QBE candidates may be considered. You must be available to start in the next 2 - 3 weeks.
