As a result, they're looking to strengthen their Pre-Construction Team with the addition of an experienced Estimator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong forward order book and genuine career progression on offer, working across a varied mix of Industrial & Logistics, Sports & Leisure, and Mixed Use schemes.
Estimator roles & responsibilities:

- Producing scopes of works for design teams and specialist consultants on design and build projects
- Value engineering ideas and solutions to meet client budgets
- Production of final bid documents and quality submissions
- Working across a range of contract types including D&B, Bills of Quantities, and NEC
- Managing the tender supplier/subcontractor database
- Detailed appraisal of incoming tenders and risk registers presented to the board

- Solid background as an Estimator with a Main Contractor, ideally within the East Midlands region
- Track record pricing projects across a range of values, from circa £5m up to £15m
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple live tenders at once
- Strong commercial acumen and confident presenting at tender interviews/settlements

Why Apply? This is a business on a genuine growth trajectory, with a healthy and varied pipeline of work secured. They offer real scope for progression for the right candidate as demonstrated by our own placement earlier this year, who has thrived in a similar role and gone from strength to strength.
