Campbell Grove Talent are working with a growing accountancy practice who are on the lookout for a Tax Semi Senior (Personal) to join their supportive tax team. Our client will also consider candidates who are currently working at trainee level.
You’ll be working with a great mix of clients including owner-managed businesses, gaining hands-on experience while continuing to build your technical knowledge.
What will you be doing?
- Managing and preparing personal tax returns for your own client portfolio
- Helping to put together tax planning and advisory work for clients
- Working closely with senior team members on interesting tax projects and queries
- Keeping on top of tax rules and making sure everything stays fully compliant
- Spotting ways clients could improve their tax position and save money
- Keeping client records organised and up to date
- Working alongside other teams in the firm to give clients a great all-round service
- Assisting during HMRC reviews, audits and enquiries when needed
Who are we looking for?
- Studying (or keen to study) towards ATT, ACA
- Ideally experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent client liaison skills
- Someone who enjoys working with clients and being part of a team
