The Opportunity Following several major National Contract Wins , a premier Civil Engineering firm is looking for an experienced Topographical & Setting Out Surveyor based in Leeds to support a long term civils construction project.Join a dynamic team shaping the future of civil engineering infrastructure across the UK.
Technical Requirements & Responsibilities Surveying Excellence: Lead setting out and surveying operations for complex civils sites, ensuring 100% accuracy in alignment with construction drawings.
Systems Proficiency: Advanced use of Total Stations , GPS Kits , and Dumpy Levels .
Software & CAD: High level of competency in AutoCAD LT and LSS (including volume calculations) to produce precise as-built drawings.
Earthworks & Machine Control: Expertly manage the initial setup, calibration, and continuous monitoring of 3D Machine Control systems to ensure precision grading and earthworks execution.
Compliance & QA: Maintain rigorous site QA documentation and procedures to ensure project integrity and safety.
Candidate Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years specialist experience in civil engineering surveying ideally dealing with earthworks and steel frame construction.
Qualifications: Ideally HNC/HND in a construction-related field.
Mobility: Full UK Driving Licence is essential for site travel across the Leeds/ North West Region
The Package Salary: £35,000 £40,000 per annum (DOE).
Vehicle: Company vehicle provided.
Equipment: Full suite of modern surveying equipment supplied.
