Are you a special needs teaching assistant with experience of working with children who benefit from additional support? If you are a SEND or SEMH specialist, or have strengths being a support assistant for children with additional or medical needs, we have the role for you!
We are working with a variety of primary schools and settings across Leeds who are recruiting for September for teaching assistants to work 1:1 and in groups supporting pupils with SEND needs or SEMH needs
Day to day tasks for this SEND teaching assistant role:
Supporting the child/children with their learning
Help with speech and language.
This role would suit full or part time hours
Collaborating as part of a team to provide the best all round support
As a support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with their timetable.
