Dawson Jones Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with our client to recruit a Repairs Administrator to join their Property Services team in West Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator with experience within repairs, maintenance or property services to join a values-led organisation making a positive difference to local communities.
Working alongside another Repairs Administrator and supporting the Repairs Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently and customers receive an excellent service.
The Role You'll be responsible for coordinating responsive repairs and supporting a range of Property Services workstreams, ensuring repairs are raised, monitored and completed within agreed timescales.
Key responsibilities include: Raising and managing repair orders using the housing management system.
Monitoring completed and overdue repairs and liaising with contractors to obtain updates.
Managing emergency and out of hours repair requests.
Maintaining and updating operational trackers, including no access cases, variations and contractor extension requests.
Processing contractor invoices and resolving any queries.
Coordinating follow-on works and access arrangements with residents and contractors.
Supporting planned maintenance, voids, damp and mould and disrepair workstreams.
Maintaining accurate records and performance information across the Property Services team.
Building positive relationships with residents, contractors and colleagues to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Supporting the continuous improvement of Property Services processes and service delivery.
About You We're looking for someone who is highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and enjoys working in a busy and varied environment.
You'll ideally have: Experience within repairs, maintenance or property services administration.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Experience using Microsoft Excel and maintaining accurate records.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
Experience liaising with contractors, customers and internal stakeholders.
A proactive approach to problem solving and service delivery.
