Our client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their Leeds based finance team. This is a hands-on role covering the day-to-day finance function, with some involvement in systems, reporting and process improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting reports
- Produce budgets, forecasts and cash flow information
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial controls
- Support statutory reporting and the external audit process
- Maintain and develop financial reporting within Sage 200
- Review existing finance processes and make practical improvements where required
- Produce and develop reporting using Excel
- Support finance systems and data-related work
- Provide financial information to management and operational teams
- Assist with other areas of the finance function as required
Candidate profile:
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar accounting role
- Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
- Good management accounts, budgeting and cash flow experience
- Strong Excel and general systems skills
- Comfortable working with financial data and reporting
- A practical, hands-on approach
- Available to undertake a temporary assignment
Package and working pattern:
Initial temporary assignment based in the West Leeds area. Salary or day rate will be dependent on experience but applicants are expected to be in the region of £60,000 per annum.
