Reporting to the Head of Data Science, the General Manager of Strategic Insights is responsible for building and leading Jet2's strategic insights capability, providing high quality, insight led thinking that shapes long term business strategy, investment decisions, and enterprise priorities.

In this newly created position as part of the Strategy function, this role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and senior decision-making, translating complex data, modelling and scenario analysis into clear, compelling insights that inform the future direction of Jet2.

What you'll be doing: Strategic Insights & Decision Support - Lead the development and delivery of strategic insights, modelling and scenario planning to support Jet2's long-term growth strategy.

Horizon-Scanning, Enterprise Modelling & Scenario Planning - Oversee the creation of strategic models & insights (financial, operational, demand, capacity, customer, risk) to support long-range planning including horizon-scanning capabilities.

Leadership & Capability Building - Lead, coach & develop a high performing Strategic Insights team, setting clear direction, standards and ways of working.

Governance, Prioritisation & Quality - Shape and operate effective governance for strategic insights, ensuring focus on the highest value questions.

What you'll have: Senior level experience in strategy, strategic analytics, insight, consulting or corporate planning.

Proven track record of influencing executive level decisions through insight and evidence.

Strong capability in strategic modelling, forecasting and scenario planning.

Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complexity without losing substance.

Experience leading and developing high performing analytical or insight teams.

Commercial acumen and a strong understanding of business drivers, trade-offs and risk.
