The Role

Reporting directly into the senior finance leadership team, responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a small finance team.
  • Ownership of a significant operational finance function.
  • Driving continuous improvement across finance processes, controls and systems.
  • Producing meaningful management information and performance reporting.
  • Supporting treasury management and cashflow activities.
  • Managing sensitive financial matters with professionalism and empathy.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Supporting wider finance transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Deputising for senior finance leadership when required.

About You

You are likely to be:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • An experienced Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Management Accountant.
  • Someone who enjoys leading people and developing teams.
  • Commercially minded but equally comfortable operating within a service-led environment.
  • A confident communicator capable of building relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
  • Someone who enjoys improving processes and making things work better.
