Youll supervise and direct our multi-trade Electricians and sub-contractors to deliver a customer focused, compliant service, working across both responsive and void properties.

What youll do:

  • Leading our trades team to deliver a right first time, whole job repairs and maintenance approach which is compliant and of high-quality.
  • Ensuring all works (including installations, repairing and servicing) are completed to the highest standards, working within budget, KPIs and service standards.
  • Managing health and safety, ensuring we comply with regulatory, health and safety standards.
  • Successfully managing internal teams and sub-contractors in delivering on our customer promise.

You have:

  • An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or strong equivalent operational experience.
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor holding IET wiring regulations, 18th Edition and inspection and testing 2391 or equivalent plus time served in electrical installation.
  • SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification and experience managing the health and safety of a direct workforce and contractors.
  • Experience of managing construction teams including electrical and compliance, successfully delivering work programmes within time and budget, driving performance, productivity and quality.
  • Experience of building regulations, electrical installations and materials and confident working to specifications and contracts.
  • A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

The practical bits:

  • You'll work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours on call as escalation.
  • Location of work: Leeds/Durham.
  • You must be able to use technology for managing progress of works and budgets, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
  • You need a Basic DBS check (we pay).
  • You get a van for business use and commuting, plus fuel card.
