We are assisting our client, a leading global insurance brokerage in Leeds. They are looking to appoint an experienced Account Executive to join its growing Advisory division in Leeds. This opportunity has arisen due to an internal promotion and offers an excellent platform for an ambitious, relationship-led professional to take ownership of an established book while continuing to grow their portfolio in a very supportive environment.

You can expect to manage and develop a £200k income portfolio of commercial clients which will see you act as a trusted adviser, delivering tailored insurance and risk solutions. A big part of your role will be to identify opportunities to upsell, cross-sell and strengthen client programmes, drive organic growth through networking, introducers, and internal lead generation whilst maintaining strong, long-term client relationships with a focus on retention and service excellence.

There is a diverse commercial client base including Retail, Haulage & Transport, Wholesale, Manufacturing and other general commercial sectors, with an opportunity to shape your portfolio around your expertise and interests.

About You:

  • Experience as an Account Executive, Account Manager or similar in commercial insurance
  • Strong relationship management and client advisory skills

  • Comfortable winning business through networking and referrals, rather than purely cold sales
  • Proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
