Sales & Lettings Negotiator Leatherhead We are looking for an experienced Sales & Lettings Negotiator to join an established residential property team based in Leatherhead .
This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional who enjoys working across both sales and lettings, building strong relationships with clients and applicants and helping properties progress from instruction through to completion or move-in.
The role would suit someone who is commercially driven, confident dealing with customers and motivated by achieving results.
The Role As a Sales & Lettings Negotiator, you will support both sides of the residential property operation, helping to generate new business and successfully progress sales and lettings.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling enquiries from vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants
Registering and qualifying prospective buyers and applicants
Conducting property viewings
Assisting with property valuations and market appraisals where required
Winning and progressing new sales and lettings instructions
Matching applicants and buyers with suitable properties
Negotiating offers between clients and prospective buyers or tenants
Progressing agreed sales through to exchange and completion
Progressing agreed lettings through to move-in
Maintaining regular communication with vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants
Following up leads and maximising opportunities
Providing advice on local market conditions, pricing and rental values
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Liaising with solicitors, mortgage advisers, referencing providers and other property professionals
Keeping property listings accurate and up to date
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
Working towards individual and team targets
Providing a high standard of customer service throughout the property journey
About You We're looking for a proactive and commercially focused Sales & Lettings Negotiator with previous residential property experience.
You should have:
Previous experience within residential estate agency
Experience across both sales and lettings would be highly desirable
Good knowledge of the local property market
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Confidence dealing with vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants
Proven ability to convert enquiries into successful transactions
A proactive approach to generating new business
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
The ability to manage multiple transactions and competing priorities
A target-driven and commercially minded approach
A full UK driving licence
The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a versatile property professional who enjoys the variety of working across sales and lettings.
You'll be confident conducting viewings, negotiating offers, following up opportunities and keeping transactions moving, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and applicants.
