We are currently working with a leading repairs and maintenance contractor that is looking to recruit a Repairs Administrator - M&E to join their busy team based in Leatherhead.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator with experience in repairs, maintenance or property services.
Supporting the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) team, you will play a key role in ensuring repair and compliance works are administered efficiently, appointments are coordinated and records are maintained accurately to support the successful delivery of maintenance services.
Key
Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the M&E repairs and maintenance team.
Raise, update and close repair jobs on the internal management system.
Schedule appointments and coordinate engineers' diaries where required.
Liaise with residents, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams to provide updates on repair progress.
Process job documentation, certificates and completion paperwork.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance documentation is uploaded and filed correctly.
Monitor outstanding jobs and assist in ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales.
Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Produce reports and provide general administrative support to supervisors and contract managers.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, GDPR and Health & Safety requirements.
Skills & Experience: Previous experience in an Administrator, Repairs Administrator, Maintenance Administrator or Compliance Administrator role.
Experience within social housing, property services, repairs and maintenance or M&E is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident communicating with residents, engineers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and repairs or maintenance management systems.
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
