Job Responsibilities
- Operate counter balance forklift trucks to safely move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate stacking and storage of products, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organisation.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily operational targets.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Shifts
- 3 days on, 3 days off.
- Day & Night shifts required.
You will be doing loads of walking within the warehouse.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Counter Balance Forklift Licence.
- Previous experience operating counter balance forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual tasks and operate machinery.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, and loading functions, as required.
- Unload inbound shipments safely & move product to holding & storage locations.
- Maintain the efficient movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of the factory facility in accordance with organisational policy and procedure.
