Manpower Scotland is currently recruiting for a Nightshift Warehouse Operative on behalf of our well-established food distribution client based in Kirkliston, Edinburgh. Due to the location of the site and the working hours, your own transport is essential as public transport is not available during shift times.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of a busy food distribution warehouse. Your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Order picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- General warehouse duties, including stock handling and housekeeping
- Working within a refrigerated environment for part of your shift
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work the Sunday to Thursday night shift on a regular basis
- Own transport is essential due to the location and shift times
