Our North Ayrshire Community Team are currently recruiting for a Support Practitioner in the Kilwinning/Stevenston area.

You do not need previous experience in Care to apply as we recruit on values and transferrable skills.

We'll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care!

However, for these posts we are only able to consider male applicants who have a UK Driving Licence for manual vehicles.

Access to your own car is not required.

This is a full time post consisting of 37.5hrs per week.

This is a sleepover service so you would normally work 2 full shifts per week.

These shifts would be 10am to 10am (11pm-7am Sleepover).

Sleepover hours are paid at £13.45 per hour.

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care.

We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism.

The Role :
As a Support Practitioner, you will support individuals to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

This can include assistance with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.

You would also provide social support within the service, accompanying individuals to any hobbies/events that they have on and participating in hobbies at home!
